This Privacy Policy explains how Chang Sport (Chang Trading), Doha, State of Qatar ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you visit changtrading.net, place an order, or contact us on WhatsApp, phone or social media. We process personal data in line with Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data Privacy and the guidance of the National Cyber Security Agency.

2. What personal data we collect

• Contact and delivery details: name, mobile/WhatsApp number, email (if given), delivery address (building, zone and street number) and location pin.
• Order details: products ordered, order value, delivery date and order history.
• Account details: if you create an account, your login email and saved favourites.
• Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp, phone, email or social media.
• Reviews: name and content of reviews you choose to post.
• Technical data: device and browser type, IP address, pages visited and cookies (see section 7).

We do not collect any card or bank payment details. We do not offer online payment. All orders are paid cash on delivery.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data (such as health, religion or ID numbers). Our products are bought by adults; we do not knowingly collect data from children.

3. Why we use your data

• To confirm, prepare and deliver your order and contact you about it.
• To handle returns, exchanges, warranty questions and customer service.
• To run and secure our website and prevent fraud.
• To keep records required by Qatari law (for example accounting records).
• To send you offers and news only if you have agreed (see section 4).
• To understand how our website and ads perform so we can improve them.

We use your data only for these purposes. Most processing is needed to complete your order; marketing and advertising cookies are based on your consent.

4. Marketing messages

We send promotional messages by email, SMS or WhatsApp only after you give clear consent (for example by ticking the marketing box at checkout or asking us to add you). You can stop at any time by clicking "unsubscribe", replying "STOP", or messaging us. Order and delivery messages are not marketing and will still be sent.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what is needed with:

• Delivery drivers / delivery partners, to deliver your order.
• Shopify, which hosts our online store.
• Service providers we use for our website, product reviews (Judge.me), email and messaging (such as WhatsApp).
• Advertising and analytics partners such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok and Google, through cookies and similar tools, only where you have allowed it.
• Government authorities, when required by Qatari law.

These providers may only use your data to provide their service to us.

6. Data stored outside Qatar

Some of our service providers (including Shopify, Meta and Google) store data on servers outside Qatar. When this happens, we use well-known providers that protect data with appropriate security measures, and we only transfer what is needed for the purposes above.

7. Cookies

Our website uses necessary cookies (for the cart and checkout) and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the cookie banner and can delete cookies in your browser settings.

8. How long we keep your data

• Order and invoice records: as long as required by Qatari commercial and tax law, then deleted.
• Customer account: until you ask us to delete it.
• Marketing list: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
• WhatsApp and customer-service messages: up to 2 years after our last contact.

9. Your rights

Under Qatari law you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete your data (unless we must keep it by law, e.g. invoices);
• stop using your data for a purpose, or object to processing;
• withdraw your consent at any time (for example to marketing).

Send your request by WhatsApp or email (details in section 1). We may ask you to confirm your identity and will reply within 30 days. There is no charge.

10. How we protect your data

We limit access to customer data to staff who need it for orders and delivery, use secure systems, and require our service providers to protect your data. If a data breach could seriously affect you, we will inform you and the competent authority as required by law.

11. Complaints

If you are not happy with how we handled your data, please contact us first and we will try to fix it. You also have the right to file a complaint with the National Data Privacy Office at the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) in Qatar.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page with the "Last updated" date.
